Amy Jo Pernie has been dancing since the age of three, and for more than 30 years, she has had the privilege of turning that lifelong passion into a ministry that reaches far beyond the dance floor.

Throughout her dance career, Amy has trained extensively, earned multiple certifications and degrees, and had the opportunity to dance with the renowned Joffrey Ballet. While she is grateful for each of these experiences and accomplishments, she considers her greatest professional achievement to be the opportunity to lead a successful dance studio for more than three decades while using the gift of dance to point others to the Lord.

For Amy, dance has never been simply about technique, performance, or achievement. It is a God-given gift and a powerful way to encourage young people, build confidence and character, and ultimately make Christ known.

Amy has been married for 36 years and is the proud mother of three daughters. Her greatest desire, both personally and professionally, is to leave a legacy of faith—using the gifts God has given her to impact the next generation for His glory.
